Next week we'll be relocating to Craig's house temporarily to play some Warmachine/Hordes. (I believe? Kevin/Craig correct me if I'm wrong.)
I guess we'll go with 15 points unless people want to play higher? Maybe bring a 25 point list if you can and we'll roll off for games. Anyone who is paired up with someone who can't make a 25 point list will use their 15 point list? Let me know what you think.
Then, the week after that, the 21st, will be our Holiday gaming night.
I told you guys about Vassal last week, which is a program that lets you run a module so that you can play Warmachine/Hordes online. Here are the links to it:
Vassal website
Vassal client download (Windows)
Warmachine Module
Basically you want to install the client, then put the module in the client's folder. If you double-click the module it should open up the Vassal client and "install" itself. Honestly, that is about all I know about it. I played one game on it a while ago and I don't really remember what was going on. If we get comfortable with it we could play each other on other nights of the week though.
Well, I just found this message board that seems to have info on playing Warmachine/Hordes on Vassal. I haven't read through much of it but it might help you out.

Also, there is another website that helps out with army lists. It is called Forward Kommander and it is more slick than the Engineering Calculator website I linked earlier.
Something that came up on the Privateer Press Forums was a discussion about measuring LOS and Range. Evidently the Range is measured between the closest two spots on the base, even if you don't use that line for LOS. This was confirmed by an "Infernal" (which is a Privateer Press employee on their official message board). Here is a diagram of what I'm talking about:

ps. It kept pissing me off how skinny this site was, so I made it a bit fatter, let me know if you don't like it.

I think that 15-25 points is a good idea. We can adjust to what we have or need. I don't have a lot of terrain but we should have enough.
