35 point Warmachine and Hordes again.

If we have to go to a free for all we should probably go down to 25 points and play on the 4'x4'!

35 point Warmahordes again?
How did 35 go last week?

Monday, March 29, 2010

Next week we will be aiming for 35 point games.  However, let us know if you'd rather play 25 and we can try to pair up people based on points they want to play.  I may want to play 25 points if I can get my Trollbloods in the mail and get them assembled.  I'll post a comment in the comment section if I think that is a possibility.

ps. Kevin, I think you should sell your pool table and get this instead.  It is only about $9,000.

pps.  Hordes MkII Stat Cards got their final update about a week or two ago, you can get it here.

Next week 25 points Warmachine/Hordes again.

I put up a link to Forward Kommander on the right side of the site. I opened up comments to all posters, including anonymous.

For some rules clarifications:
- I was wrong about Sorscha's Feat allowing me to see through models. In my head I was thinking it was knockdown. Both Knockdown and Stationary allow for models requiring to forfeit either action or movement or give up a Focus to stand up. Both Knockdown and Stationary reduce base defense to 5 and are automatically hit in melee. Both Knockdown and Stationary are not engaged and do not engage. However, Stationary models block LOS but Knockdown models don't.
- Powerful Attack only boosts one shot of a weapon. See link to rules question on PPForums. Purple names are official Privateer Press employees.
- Sorscha's Tempest does Knockdown and POW:12 to all models in AoE, without damage being halved to non-direct-hit models. See link, no official response as of posting this on AWR though.
- I was wrong, you can not cast a spell and then run.
- Only one instance of a spell with the upkeep property may be out at one time. However, other buffs may be cast multiple times.
